Hi,

Thanks for visiting my web site. 2011 has been an other exciting year. In the spring I photographed humming birds in southern Arizona; in summer Jane and I were in France and Italy including the Loire Valley, Provence, Tuscany, and Cinque Terre; we also traveled to the Pacific Northwest including Olympic National Park and then further north to Port McNeil on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. There we boarded the Ocean Light II, a 72 foot ketch and motored to the Johnstone Strait to photography Orcas (killer whales) and other assorted marine wildlife. In the fall I photographed bats in southern Arizona; and then on to California wine country for an action packed workshop with Gale Perry. Finally, in December I traveled to Bosque del Apache again to photograph Snow Geese and Sandhill Cranes and to the California central coast to photograph elephant seals and monarch butterflies.

Two of my articles were published in national magazines this year. Bird Watcher's Digest cover article for its March/April issue features my lesser prairie chicken article and the Nature Photographer Magazine summer issue inclulded an article about my odyssy to photograph Indian rock art.

Jane and I are already planning and looking forward to 2012. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy viewing my photographs and if so inclined, don't hesitate to purchase one of your favorites.
