Hi,
Thanks again for visiting my web site. 2011 is now history and historic it was. Lots of picture taking and some fantastic travel to Europe and Canada. Jane and I are now ready for 2012. We already have a ski trip under our belts and are looking forward to some great adventures, and hopefully some more photographs for the web site. I'll fill you in as we go.
In April, I completed a trip to southern Arizona with my friend Bruce Hollingsworth to photograph birds. We had hoped to add some new species to our portfolios. Unfortunately, due to a cold spring, the expected bird migration had not started. You can read more about this trip in my blog by clicking on the "Blog" button above. Pictures from the trip are in the Birds of Southern Arizona gallery.
Two of my articles were published in national magazines in 2011. For 2012, there is the potential for three additional articles. I just learned that one of those, an article about the northern gannets on Bonaventure Island in Québec, Canada, was published in the March/April issue of Birdwatcher's Digest. I will keep you posted as others are published.
